Friday the 13th was a fun day at Lawrence Avenue Elementary School in Potsdam. Teachers and staff switched roles for part of the day to see a different perspective when working with the students. A fourth grade teacher filled in for the office secretary, the principal spent time in a Kindergarten class room, a counselor was the custodian while the custodian become a Pre-K aide or a few hours and many other staff members gladly took on a new role at the school. This activity was to emphasize this week’s Positivity Project theme, perspective, and how that relates to what other people do in school. Pictured above are students identified as Timmy, Sadie and Parker with second grade teacher Jen Saber, who dressed as the laminating queen for the day.
