The North Country Children's Museum recently received $1,000 toward their future permanent location at 10 Raymond St., from St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union. They will be in the big red barn portion of the building that housed Sperling’s Furniture many years ago and faces the municipal parking lot. Also located in the building along Raymond Street are Best Friends Thrift Shop and The Tile Company, which will remain. The museum now is what their website calls 'a museum without walls.' They bring traveling exhibits around the area, including to community events.
