Drug disposal kiosk up in Ogdensburg
Tuesday, February 20, 2018 - 4:59 pm

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is one of five New York hospitals now collecting unused pharmaceuticals from the public free of charge through July 2018. Designed and implemented by the Product Stewardship Institute and the New York Product Stewardship Council (NYPSC), this pilot drug take-back program offers residents in Delaware, Monroe, Otsego, and St. Lawrence counties convenient locations to dispose of medications. Standing with the new medication disposal kiosk is Greg Guimond, RPh., director of pharmacy at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
