CANTON -- The “Young North Country Fiddler Showcase” is set for Saturday, May 31, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at TAUNY, 53 Main St.
The students of local fiddler and TAUNY Heritage Award Winner Gretchen Koehler will present a concert featuring a variety of tunes played throughout the North Country, including old time squares, English country dance, bluegrass, New England contra dance, and Irish session tunes.
Known as "The Madstop Fiddlers," members range from kindergarteners to grandparents, beginners to accomplished players.
