Winterfest tea
CANTON: Afternoon Tea with The Moore Family, at TAUNY, 53 Main St., 2-3:30 p.m., Canton Winterfest 2019 event; pre-registration required: 315-386-4289; at this program, participants will enjoy the tastes of British tea customs with London-born home cook Fran Moore and her family; Fran will discuss the intricacies of the British afternoon and evening meals as her mother taught her and she has passed on to her daughters; Fran and family will prepare a variety of traditional teatime treats like savory sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, and cakes, tarts and biscuits – and of course tea.
Wine tasting
CANTON: Wine Tasting at Ye Olde Liquor in the University Plaza, 3-7 p.m., variety of wines will be sampled with cheese and crackers being served; Canton Winterfest 2019 event.
Pancake breakfast
NORWOOD: All you can eat pancake breakfast, hosted by Norwood Fire Association, at the municipal building, 8 a.m., with scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, orange juice, coffee; $8, kids $4, kids under five free.
