MASSENA: Spooky Friday Night Out, 6-8 p.m., for teens & adults with special needs & their friends; spooky and spider themed art activities organized by SLC Arts; $5 materials fee, paraprofessionals free; at Nicandri Nature Center, 19 Robinson Bay Rd.; pre-register: slcartscouncil.org/friday-night-out/.
Driver-safety program
MASSENA: Final AARP driver-safety program of the year, Massena Community Center, 61 Beach St.; suitable for all drivers, regardless of age; receive a three-year insurance discount and are eligible to reduce up to four points on driver’s license; two day class, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; class size limited, pre-registration required: 315-769-7810 no later than Oct. 18; must attend both sessions; $20 for AARP members, $25 for non-members, pay by check or exact cash at the first class session; bring driver’s license and current AARP card (if a member); for the first class session, participants must arrive no later than 9:15 a.m.
