Young Artist Competition
POTSDAM: Orchestra of Northern New York will host the 13th Annual James and Katherine Andrews Young Artist Competition, 10 a.m., SUNY Potsdam’s Hosmer Hall; six high school students from northern and central New York will compete for a $500 first prize and the opportunity to solo with the ONNY, the region's only professional symphony orchestra; public invited; students perform works from memory; each student has seven to 15 minutes to play a required piece.
