CANTON: ‘The Man Who Came To Dinner,’ performed by the Grasse River Players at Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall on St. Lawrence University’s campus; tickets are $10 at The Pear Tree or at the door, children under 6 are free; begins at 7 p.m.; Canton Winterfest 2019 event.

Pure Country

Young Artist Competition

POTSDAM: Orchestra of Northern New York will host the 13th Annual James and Katherine Andrews Young Artist Competition, 10 a.m., SUNY Potsdam’s Hosmer Hall; six high school students from northern and central New York will compete for a $500 first prize and the opportunity to solo with the ONNY, the region's only professional symphony orchestra; public invited; students perform works from memory; each student has seven to 15 minutes to play a required piece.
