Church breakfast

OGDENSBURG: All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, Galilee United Methodist Church, 5129 County Route 6, Black Lake Road, 4.5 miles from Ogdensburg; 7:30-10:30 a.m.; $8 adults, $4.50 children 5-12, under 5 free; pancakes, French toast, maple syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, juice, coffee.

Chicken barbecue

MADRID: 63rd annual Chipman Chicken Barbecue at the Scotch Presbyterian Church 34 County Route 33; serving starts at 4 p.m.; take-outs are available at 3:30 p.m.; adults $10, and children $4; chicken halves will cost $6; country garden bazaar and home baked pies to purchase.

HOPKINTON: Annual Hopkinton Turkey Pie Dinner, town hall, 5-7 p.m.; $8 for adults and $4 for children; includes pie, mashed, salad, cranberry sauce, dessert and drink; proceeds go back to the community; sponsored by the Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship Group.
