Fall Ball Dance

MADRID: Madrid Dam Music Series hosting 2018 Fall Ball Dance, 7 p.m., Madrid Park Community Building; country singer Marty Robinson will perform; country line dancing demo will be held; kids activity including making “Hunting” or “No Hunting” signs and climbing into a deer hide to spot animals; King and Queen of the Ball will be crowned; food and refreshments for purchase, 50/50 raffles and Barn Quilt raffle tickets for sale; no smoking, alcohol or strobe lighting; admission is free.

Haunted Hayride

Wags and Whiskers fundraiser

GOUVERNEUR: "Wags and Whiskers," a fall luncheon and craft/vendor show, Gouverneur Elks Club; benefits Friends 4 Pound Paws Inc., a no-kill, all breed dog and cat rescue service operating in Gouverneur, Fowler and Russell; more than 20 crafters and vendors showcasing handmade and direct marketing merchandise; chicken barbecue offering chicken, two sides, a dinner roll and desert for $11, or $10 for take-out, beverage with the dine-in option; kitten adoption; bucket drawings showcasing 30 or more items for $1 per ticket or $5 for an arm's length of tickets; 315-276-5987.
