MASSENA: St. Lawrence County Republican Committee hosting Meet & Greet, 6 p.m., Massena VFW Post 1143, 101 W. Hatfield St.; cocktail hour 6-7 p.m., program scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.; special guests, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Republican Candidate NY-21; and State and County Republican Legislative Candidates, Republican Candidates for County Coroner; open to the public, no charge, donations accepted.
Environmental meeting
CANTON: St. Lawrence County Environmental Management Council meets, 6 p.m., 2nd-floor conference room, Public Safety Complex (across Court Street from the County Courthouse); speaker will be Chester W. “Skip” Bisnett, general manager at Casella Waste Systems Inc. in Potsdam, will discuss current conditions in the recycling markets, how these circumstances impact St. Lawrence County, and what we might anticipate in the near future.
