HEUVELTON: Family Safety Night, hosted by Kang Duk Won Karate, at Pickens Hall, 6-7:30 p.m.; self-defense and personal awareness practices intended for family members and individuals of all ages; will include active participation in practical self-defense and safety exercises; concepts will be carefully explained and then practiced by youth and adults alike; dynamic demonstration (forms, sparring, board breaks) performed by the students and black belts from various county-wide karate classes; open to all; 315-386-3029.
