MADRID: St. Lawrence Valley Horsemen’s Association (SLVHA) meet, 1 p.m., Madrid Hepburn Library Community Room; plans for the 2019 season to be discussed, wrap of the 2018 season finalized and slate of officers to be presented.

Art study

OGDENSBURG: Frederic Remington Art Museum “One Hour One Work” session, 2 p.m.; chance for participants to slow down and dive deep into a single work of art on display, Self-Portrait on a Horse, which is on loan to the Remington Museum from the Sid Richardson Museum in Fort Worth, TX; museum educator will facilitate 60 minutes of focused looking, consideration, conversation, and interpretation of a single artwork; free with admission; register: fredericremington.org, 315-393-2425, desmond@fredericremington.org.
