Chinese exhibit opening

POTSDAM: Exhibit opens at Potsdam Museum China - Land of Silk and Dragons, featuring a collection of Chinese textiles artifacts from the Qing Dynasty donated by the late Dr. Hans Scheyer and his wife Marguerite,; 315-265-6910.

Lessons and Carols

MORLEY: Traditional service of lessons and carols, Trinity Chapel, Morley, stone chapel next to cemetery; 7 p.m., light holiday refreshments and conversation afterwards.

Santa, Holiday Lights

RENSSELAER FALLS: Santa Claus at the Rensselaer Falls Library, 5 p.m.; lighting of holiday lights in Veterans Park, caroling, snacks, hot cocoa, holiday movie screening of “Frosty the Snowman” at the library; Memory Tree fundraiser hosted by library assoc., donations of $1 accepted, call 315-344-6510 or -7406.
