Canton Winterfest 2019

CANTON: vegetarian sushi making, Nature's Storehouse, 21 Main St., 6:30-8 p.m., learn how to make simple vegetarian sushi rolls and eat your own creation, family friendly event, suggested donation is $5 per person, $10 family, funds raised go to the Church & Community Program, 315-386-3740; varsity boys hockey: Canton vs. Salmon River Central, 7:30 p.m., Canton Recreational Pavilion.

Art tea

OGDENSBURG: Frederic Remington Art Museum continues its annual “Art Highlights and Tea” lecture series with a presentation by Maria Pedroso-Parker entitled, “A Cuban Woman’s View on Frederic Remington and the Spanish American War;” 2 p.m.; tea served at 3 p.m. in the museum’s Tiffany rooms; $10, or $15 for non-members; 315-393-2425, email desmond@fredericremington.org, or reserve seats at the tea online at fredericremington.org.
