CANTON – The Canton Free Library will host a two-part workshop by artist Judith Utter on nature journalling and botanical illustration using watercolors Feb. 17 and 24, from 1-4 p.m.
Each class will focus on sketching and painting a different natural object, and developing skills students can use to create their own journals of nature observations.
The fee is $40 per session.
Participants will receive an archival, hand-sewn journal to use in future studies.
Familiarity with basic watercolor techniques is encouraged.
