WADDINGTON -- The Waddington Summer Concert Series will present seven 2016 performances.
Admission will be free, but donations will be accepted.
On July 1, Potsdam rockers Double Axel take the stage. They have been a band since 1971.
July 8 will be L’il Anne and Hot Cayenne. They are a zydeco-Cajun act from Ithaca.
Fritz’s Polka Band will return to Waddington July 15. Their repertoire includes moders polka, country, rock and blues.
Grass Transit is slated for July 22. Concert organizers describe their sound as “a mature, heartfelt style.” They play bluegrass, country, swing and traditional tunes.
Next up in Northbound, who will play July 29. They are a pop, folk and rock act.
Northern Lights Orchestra will once again be billed, this year on Aug. 12. Concert organizers say they are “a favorite with a special show every year.”
Aug. 19 will be Six Foot Midget. The rock band will play in conjunction with the block party and boat show.
The series will close Aug. 26 with Riverside Brass Quintet. They play a variety of cover songs and original music.
