OGDENSBURG – Emmy Award-winning comedienne Vicki Lawrence is one of the most beloved television personalities of her generation, and she is coming to Ogdensburg Command Performances in a sold-out performance on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7:45 p.m.
The “Carol Burnett Show” and “Mama’s Family” veteran created one of the most endearing characters to date, Thelma Harper, or “Mama.”
Ms. Lawrence will take the stage first with a mixture off stand-up comedy, music and her observations about life.
Then it’s Mama’s turn. "We're creating new material with a more modern and cutting edge. Where Mama is concerned, expect the unexpected. There's really nothing she can't do," Lawrence said.
Season ticket holders who are unable to attend this performance are urged to turn in their tickets.
