MASSENA -- Upstate Comic Con, featuring a comic book show, cosplay, entertainment, video game tournaments and more takes place this weekend at St. Lawrence Centre Mall, NYS Hwy. 37.
The event opens 3 p.m. Saturday with Nadia Verucci from Assassin’s Creed, a cosplay contest with $250 prize, video game tournaments by Rainy Toad Gaming; Ghostbusters Ecto One, Xmen of Montreal and vendors. The show remains open until 7 p.m.,
Sunday, the show is open from noon to 5 p.m. and will include an art contest with $150 prize, cosplay karaoke, video game tournaments by Rainy Toad Gaming; Ghostbusters Ecto One, and vendors.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $3 for children; a portion of the proceeds will support Massena Memorial Hospital Foundation.
