POTSDAM – A free guest artist recital will feature a series of Austrian lieder composed by a Holocaust victim and until recently never performed.
University at Buffalo faculty members Alexander Hurd, Tony Arnold and Alison D'Amato will present "Songs of Marcel Tyberg" by Marcel Tyberg 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25 in SUNY Potsdam’s Snell Music Theater.
Tyberg was an Austrian composer, conductor and pianist sent to a death camp by the Nazis during World War II.
The public is invited.
