POTSDAM -- The SLC Arts Council, 41 Elm St., will offer Beginning Ukulele: Take It From the Top! with Kevin Marcinko from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
The two-hour workshop is for absolute beginners and will cover how to hold and strum the ukulele, basic chords and simple music theory.
Reading music will not be necessary.
Participants are required to bring their own ukuleles and register.
