POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will host a faculty recital featuring two world premieres of new works by Jerod Sommerfeldt and Tim Sullivan, on Monday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m., in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.

Pianist M. Maxwell Howard will open the concert with a performance of Sullivan's six-movement 2011 work, "The Wayward Suite." Two of Sommerfeldt's compositions, "kernel__panic" and "Dharma in Excelsis," will follow.

The concert will conclude with two world premieres. First, Sullivan's four-movement work, "Matter Stream," will debut, featuring Howard on piano and the composer on vibraphone. Finally, Sommerfeldt's new work, "Strong Back, Soft Front," will close the program.

This concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.

This concert will broadcast live at www.potsdam.edu/academics/Crane/streaming.
