MASSENA -- Two shows are scheduled to perform at the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce concert series at Springs Park Thursday, July 12.

A mini-concert with Bob and Dawna Miller from Waddington will be from 5-6 p.m., followed by Massena’s own Tracer James Trio from 6-8 p.m.

Bob and Dawna will perform a potpourri of music from the 50’s. 60’s, 70’s with a surprise or two. The well known duo have performed at numerous venues around Northern New York over the years, particularly in Massena.

The Tracer James Trio, lead by Massena’s Tracer James, performs revved-up blues rock.

The guitar player, also a member of local band favorite Six Foot Midget, was recently picked by legendary blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa out of 2,600 guitar players to compete as a finalist in the Top 10 Guitar Center’s Blues Masters Contest.

Members Tracer James, with Don Shanty Jr. on bass, and Shawn Haley and drums perform classic rock from the Doors and Hendrix to modern blues rocks favorites like Stevie Ray Vaughn.
