POTSDAM -- To showcase the new space and services, and to celebrate the expansion of its services, Trillium Wellness Center will hold an Open House on Saturday, Jan. 20, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

2017 was a year of change and growth for Trillium, said a press release from the organization.

After two years as a fledgling yoga studio on Market Street, in September, the opportunity to expand presented itself, thanks to the generosity of the Potsdam Presbyterian Church, said Trillium partners in the press release.

Trillium was renamed Trillium Wellness Center and moved into a newly renovated space in the Community Center at Potsdam Presbyterian Church, located at 42 1/2 Elm St.

The studio offers a wide variety of yoga classes, is the Potsdam home for North Country Tai Chi, and has four new healing arts rooms.

Current services include massage therapy, yoga therapy, reiki, spiritual counseling, nutrition counseling, private yoga sessions, essential oil education, and more.

There is also full handicap accessibility, including a lift at a second entrance and bathrooms.

All attendees at the upcoming open house will be entered into drawings for door prizes, which will include: a Trillium T-shirt, a five class card, essential oils, a journal, and a "B Mat" brand yoga mat.

Refreshments will be served. Trillium teachers and healing arts practitioners will be there to answer any questions about classes and services.

The open house provides a great opportunity to learn more about all that Trillium Wellness Center has to offer the community.

Those interested in attending should park on Elm Street (Route 11B) and enter through the fence at the Trillium entrance.
