CANTON — TAUNY, Traditional Arts in Upstate New York, invites the community to an afternoon of holiday caroling and crafting at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., Friday, Dec. 8, from 4-6:30 p.m.
Crafting begins at 4 p.m. and will be followed by a Christmas carol singalong with the Unitarian Universalist Church Choir of Canton, led by Carol Strome at 5:30 p.m. All ages are welcome (children must be supervised), and supplies will be provided for assorted make-and-take crafts. Beverages and light refreshments will be served.
There is a $5 suggested donation for this program. Participants are also invited to explore TAUNY’s current exhibits: The Annual Sugar & Spice Gingerbread Contest and Display, Personal Collection Series: Cookie Cutters from the Miller Family Collection, and the Folkstore Holiday Showcase.
