CANTON -- Traditional Arts in Upstate New York is taking registrations for a doorknob wreath braiding workshop.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 12, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
Cost is $18, $16 for TAUNY Friends.
Adirondack rug braider and North Country Heritage Award recipient Helen Condon will lead the class for anyone interesting in learning the traditional art of rug braiding. She will teach the technique of using braided doorknob wreaths.
Anyone age seven and up is welcome.
