POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam’s 8th annual “Relay For Life” event is planned for April 4-5 from 6:30 p.m. through 7 a.m. at the Maxcy Fieldhouse.
The registration fee is $20 with all money being donated to charity. The event is an overnight, non-competitive walking or running event to raise money and awareness to fight cancer.
All money raised goes to the American Cancer Society. Participants and teams can include clubs/organizations, students, faculty/staff, alumni, and community members.
This year's theme is Wizard of Oz, so the activities, food, games, and decorations will reflect the Land of Oz.
Cancer survivors do not have to pay the fee and will receive a free shirt for attending. For more information or to make a donation, visit www.relayforlife.org/sunypotsdamny.
