POTSDAM -- Area competitors are invited to participate in a triathlon hosted by SUNY Potsdam’s Athletic Department and the Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation on Saturday, Sept. 10.
The course is a quarter-mile swim in the Maxcy Hall pool, a 12-mile bike route off campus, and a 3.1-mile run around the perimeter of campus.
Race day registration will be held at Maxcy Hall from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m., with a 9 a.m. race start. Individuals and teams are welcome to participate.
Registration fees are $30 per individual competitor and $50 per team. A discount will apply for those who register early or to students with a valid college ID. T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered participants and to other competitors as available. The deadline to register early is Friday, Sept. 2.
