CANTON -- In an effort to reduce end-of-the year waste and upcycle items left behind by students, SUNY Canton invites the community to participate in its annual “Give Back Day.”
Guests can select used clothing, bedding, household goods and other items free of charge from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, May 17 in the Roos House Ice Arena.
Although all items are free, attendants can opt to make a donation to support the college’s food pantry.
The event is run by the CARES Committee, which seeks to inspire character, acts of kindness, respect, as well as increasing environmental sustainability and promoting spirituality.
