CANTON -- The SUNY Canton Detachment of U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 092-01-01 Massena is offering the boating safety course, About Boating Safely, on Tuesday and Thursday, April 19 and 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. each night in Payson Hall, Room 212 at SUNY Canton.
This course is open to anyone 10 years or older who meets all requirements for anyone who wishes to operate a personal watercraft or anyone born after May 1, 1996, wishing to operate a powerboat.
The cost is $35 per person.
Family rates are available.
Participants must pre-register by calling 315-600-6306 and must attend both nights to receive a boating safety certificate upon completion of the course.
