POTSDAM – Summer belly dancing classes taught by Basimah begin June 30 in the St. Lawrence County Arts Council space at Clarkson University’s downtown Snell Building.
Level 1 will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays for beginners and continuing students of Middle Eastern Dance. Students will learn hip movements and combinations that will challenge both the body and mind.
Level 1B belly dance, for dancers who have taken several sessions of Level 1, will be offered from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Thursdays.
