POTSDAM -- The PEOF Neighborhood Pavilion Project at Lawrence Avenue Elementary is running a matching donation campaign with the Stewart’s Shoppes Maple Street store from May 14-27.
Stewart’s has pledged a dollar-for-dollar matching donation up to $5,000 for money collected by the Stewart’s Foundation at the store on behalf of the project.
Donations are tax deductible and checks can be made to the foundation. Please designate Neighborhood Pavilion Project @ Lawrence Avenue Elementary on the check.
The campaign kicks off during the Lawrence Avenue Elementary open house and Ice Cream Social on the future site of the pavilion on May 10, from 5:30-7 p.m.
The social will be hosted by Potsdam PTSA.
Ice cream sundaes wil be provided free of charge by Stewart’s.
The campaign currently has raised $10,000 and needs $25,000 to purchase the pavilion kit.
