LOUISVILLE -- State and local officials will open the Nicholas Pool Trail April 20 at 1 p.m.
The trail is at the end of a .6-mile gravel road on the north side of state Route 37, east of Coles Creek State Park, and about 100 yards west of St. Lawrence Recreation.
People in attendance can view wildlife or do a “hands-on activity with fish,” New York State Department of Environmental Conservation said.
Parking is available in a main lot, with a secondary lot about 200 yards from the trailhead and along the access road.
