POTSDAM – The Potsdam Public Library, 2 Park St., will host the first performance of the In the Stacks music series Sunday, Feb. 4, from 4-5 p.m. in the library’s main reading room.
The performance will feature local musician Jackson Cavalier, a one-man folk band playing original songs and re-imagined covers.
In the Stacks Music Series is a new program presented by the Potsdam Public Library and Madstop Records at SUNY Potsdam.
These recorded concerts are held in the main reading room of the Potsdam Public Library, and a limited number of free tickets will be available approximately 10 days before the event at the circulation desk.

Other scheduled dates are March 4 featuring jazz with Bill Vitek & Friends, March 25 with the electronica improv group Jerod Stephen Doyle and April 15 with the Frackenpohl Brass Quintet.
