CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will kick off its Noon in the Chapel concert series with “Music for High Holy Days – Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur,” beginning at 12:15 on Friday, Sept. 30, in Gunnison Memorial Chapel.
The concert will feature St. Lawrence University’s Musician in Residence Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, who will play organ music from composers who lived in Germany between World War I and II, including Ludwig Mendelssohn, Ernst August Beyer, Max Wolff, Siegfried Wurzburger and Hugo Chaim Adler.
Parking for chapel events will be in H-Lot, across from Griffiths Arts Center and next to Vilas Hall. There also will be a drop-off location and limited handicapped parking spaces in front of Richardson Hall and at the front of the chapel.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.
