CANTON -- St. Lawrence University’s Noon in the Chapel will celebrate Music for Black History Month, beginning at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, in Gunnison Memorial Chapel.
The performance is free and open to the public. Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, St. Lawrence’s organist and musician-in-residence, will perform a variety of familiar spirituals in newly arranged settings.
The performance will also include the Ad Hoc Singers comprised of Alexandra Jacobs Wilke, Julia Pomainville, Chris Rediehs and Galen Pletcher.
