CANTON -- St. Lawrence University’s Commencement will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, on Creasy Commencement Common, or in Appleton Arena in the event of inclement weather.
Students, faculty, staff and guests will hear remarks from honorary degree recipients Haruyoshi “Yoshi” Udagawa ’74, faculty emeritus at the Toyo University, and Melanie Smeallie Mbuyi ’77, operations officer for East Asia Pacific Region Finance and Markets Global Practice at the World Bank.
North Country Public Radio, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, will receive the 2018 North Country Citation.
