CANTON -- A St. Lawrence University tradition will continue this year with the 91st annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols.
The service will be held in the Gunnison Memorial Chapel on campus Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and again at 9 p.m.
Highlights of the service will include readings and choral music, with a lighting of candles to end the service. The service will be led by Kathleen Buckley, the university’s chaplain.
Traditional carols and music by the LAurentian Singers, the University Chorus and the Community Children’s Chorus will be featured. The chapel will be illuminated by over 250 candles, as well as the candles lit by each congregant.
For more information, contact the chaplain's office at 229-5256.
