CANTON -- A program about Genetically Engineered Organisms (GMOs) will be held Wednesday, April 6, at Eben Hall at St. Lawrence University from 7 to 9 p.m.
Margaret Smith from Cornell University talk about what is genetically modified, their potential impact, the controversy around them, what genetically modified crops are in grocery stores and how one can tell if something is GMO.
People can park in Lot C or Lot J.
The event is being hosted by the Northern New York Regional Ag Team and St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau.
