The St. Lawrence County Public Health Department is hosting three free rabies clinics in the next two weeks.
Dogs and cats must be at least 3 months old to get the vaccine. Pregnant dogs and cats can be vaccinated. Animals must have a collar and leash. Cats must be in an animal carrier or a pillowcase. Animals must be under control of an adult. Three-year vaccinations are available with a current rabies certificate. Rabies tag does not count as proof.
June 26: Clifton-Fine, Star Lake fire hall, 6-8 p.m.
July 9: Pierrepont, Pierrepont highway garage, 6-8 p.m.
July 10: Gouverneur town barn, 6-8 p.m.
