St. Lawrence County Historical Association hosts holiday open house Dec. 7

The free annual holiday open house will be held at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association Friday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. The Noteworthy Handbell Choir will perform at 7 p.m.

CANTON – The St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 E. Main St., will hold a holiday open house Friday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m.

The open house will feature live music beginning at 4 p.m. R Merrie Song, made up by Robin Duncan and Gerrie and Katie McGrath, will perform carols of the old world and the new with voice and instruments at 5 p.m. The Noteworthy Handbell Choir will perform at 7 p.m.

The 37-year tradition of the Canton Garden Club decoration will continue at the association. The club will provide floral decorations and decorate the Victorian Christmas trees.

The names of those included on the Civil War memory tree will be read at the open house. For more information on the memorial tree or the open house contact info@slcha.org.
