POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Democratic Committee will host its annual Fall Harvest Dinner on Friday, Oct. 21 at Knowles Hall on the SUNY Potsdam campus.
The reception hour starts at 6 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7 p.m.
This year’s featured speaker will be Basil Smikle, Executive Director of the New York State Democratic Committee. Smikle is a frequent commentator on CNN and other news programs. Assemblywoman Addie Russell, Congressional Candidate Mike Derrick, Assembly Candidate Billy Jones, St. Lawrence County Treasurer Candidate Renee Cole and State Supreme Court Candidate Mark Powers will also speak at the dinner.
Chairman Mark Bellardini will be honored as the recipient of this year's Silas Wright Award, which is the highest award presented by the SLC Democratic Committee.
Some seats are still available to community members at a cost of $50 per person.
