CANTON — St. Lawrence University's Chaplain's Office will present a service of songs and readings celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21.
The event is free and open to the public.
This year's theme, “Too much is on the line: Social change is for everyone,” will feature messages delivered by President William L. Fox and Associate Chaplain The Rev. Shaun Whitehead.
The service will also feature several St. Lawrence choirs, including the Ad Hoc Singers, Community Gospel Choir, Laurentian Singers, Singing Saints, Singing Sinners, and UpBeat.
