CANTON -- The Sustainable Living Project & Local Living Festival presents another in their series of skills-building workshops for resourceful living with a "Scything Skill-Share: Dancing While You Mow" to be held in the Canton/Russell area on Saturday, June 11, from 10 a.m. - noon.

The session will be facilitated by Eddie Goldstein, who will focus on working with the "European" style scythe.

It is anticipated that no more than half the time will be devoted to group discussion, with practice of mowing, sharpening, and individual attention to details taking up the remainder.

There is a suggested donation of $10 to $20, sliding scale, $5 student - scholarships available when you RSVP.

For location, contact SustLivingProject@gmail.com or 347-4223 to register for this event and for suggestions on purchasing a scythe, if needed.

This event is weather dependent, with a rain date of the next day.
