CHIPMAN -- The Scotch Presbyterian Church will host a free Lifetree Café discussion titled “Does God Have a Plan for You? One Woman’s Quest to Save 300 Babies” Monday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
The program features a filmed interview with Operation Baby Lift volunteer LeAnn Thieman. In the final days of the Vietnam War, Thieman and other volunteers extracted hundreds of at-risk babies from Vietnamese orphanages.
The discussion following the film will explore life’s purpose and divine intervention.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Lifetree Café is a place where people can gather for non-denominational conversations about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.
