A cabbage sale in Potsdam, turkey dinner in Madrid and chicken-and-biscuit dinner in Ogdensburg are planned Saturday.
A cabbage roll sale will be held beginning at 11 a.m., hosted by the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1194, 95 Market St.
The price per roll is $2. Takeout is available. For free delivery, call 265-7036.
A turkey dinner sponsored by the United Church of Madrid at 4:30 p.m. in the Madrid-Waddington High School cafeteria.
The price for adults is $8, children 5 to 12 $4, and under 5 is free. Takeouts are available. For free delivery call 322-5746 beginning at 4 p.m.
A chicken and biscuit dinner will be held at the First United Methodist Church, corner of Caroline and Montgomery streets beginning at 4:30 p.m. The meal also features mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, assorted desserts and beverages.
The suggested price is $7 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under, and free for ages 5 and under with the exception of takeouts. Delivery is also available. For info, call 393-1289 before 5 p.m. the day of or day before the dinner.
