CANTON – The World Artisan of Potsdam and Northern Light Yoga Center are holding a presentation on “Rwanda–Land of a Thousand Hills” Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the yoga center, 595 Miner St.
Robin and Emma Crowell will be speaking about their trip to Rwanda, Africa this past summer.
Robin and Emma's purpose for traveling to Rwanda was to meet Fair Trade artisans, learn about their projects, and tour the natural beauty of the country.
Robin will talk about the value of Fair Trade and its effect on women, youth and genocide survivors in Rwanda.
There will also be a holiday sale of items from Rwanda and other parts of the world.
