RICHVILLE -- The Richville Free Library hosts a book sale Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. There will be a huge selection for adults and children.
The Richville School Snack Shack and General Store will provide a bookcase at the store to hold a continuous supply of books for sale to benefit the Richville Library and local readers. The books will be replenished as needed and will be available during store hours. The bookcase will have a Donation Box and will be self-service for shoppers.
“This will be a great help for our small Library as we rely on sales and contributions to supplement our budget,” said Library Manager Lila Youngs.
The library will also have a Richville Little Library at the playground and in Depeyster.
The Little Libraries were built by Brenda Bryant-McAdam of Richville. They will be in place as soon as weather permits and will provide a service to many who like to read.
