MALONE -- Current members of the Northern Zone of The New York State Retired Teachers' Association invite all retired educators (and their guests) residing in Franklin and St. Lawrence counties to join them at the fall membership meeting at the Malone Golf Club, 79 Golf Course Road Tuesday, Sept. 25.
The day will begin with morning refreshments/registration at 9 a.m. and continue with a business meeting at 9:30 a.m., guest speaker at 11 a.m. and lunch at noon.
Guest speaker will be Francoise Goodrow, retired Brushton-Moira Central School French teacher and NZ-NYSRTA member, who will present insights into the lives of French citizens who endured the Nazi German occupation of their country during World War II.
