OGDENSBURG -- The Remington Arts Museum will read “Claude Monet – Sunshine and Waterlilies” by True Kelley Tuesday, Feb. 5 as part of the “Make a Masterpiece” kids’ art class. The class will run from 3 to 5 p.m. Children will finger paint a bridge based on Monet’s work.
The museum will also host a home-school meeting Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The group will finish the “Chihuly Tower,” which is made of recycled water bottles and tissue paper, along with a “Chihuly Macchia” made of coffee filters and markers. Home school sessions are $3 per child.
The museum’s lunch brunch will return Wednesday, Feb. 13. Kids ages zero to four can bring a bagged lunch and take part in an art activity from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids will make valentine’s cards using pink, red and purple acrylic paint and heart stamps made from paper towel tubes.
