POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence Valley Dog Club will offer puppy and adult Dog Obedience Classes starting with registration Tuesday, April 10.
Registration will take place at the Potsdam Elementary School Gymnasium at 7 p.m. Evening classes to be offered include puppy, adolescent puppy and adult beginner classes.
Advanced beginner (Trick Dog Novice) classes will be offered for dog/handler teams which have completed a beginner course. A Canine Good Citizen prep class will be offered on Thursdays if there is enough interest.
In addition, Novice and Advanced Rally as well as Advanced Trick Dog classes will be held on Thursdays.
Permission is required to enroll in those classes. Classes will take place Tuesday evenings from April 17 to May 22 and Thursday evenings from April 12 to May 24 in the Potsdam Elementary Gymnasium. Specific class times will depend on which class is selected.
Fee for the six-week session is $75.
Bring proof of immunizations to registration, but no dogs.
